This class takes place on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021 at 10 AM at Port Tobacco River Park.

Ms. Erika is a former classroom teacher who has successfully supported children of all age levels for over 10 years. She is also a member of the Master Gardeners 2020 Class with University of Maryland Extension and a former classroom teacher. She enjoys creating experiences and highly impactful learning sessions with enough space for everyone to bring their whole selves, yes even including the kid sillies. Put all of that together, and we have the makings of an awesome time in workshop together! The skills taught in this workshop are detailed below in guardian-friendly language, but please know that they will be purposefully accessible for kids and parents alike!

Where: Port Tobacco River Park in La Plata, MD in the outdoor classroom. (Safely-distanced and truly beautiful location perfect for connecting to nature.)

When: Saturday, October 2nd, 10-11AM

Pricing includes all materials needed to participate and covers one kid and one adult participant. Each participant will leave with a container including one vegetable and one herb plus the knowledge required to expand your container garden as you see fit.
