4 Week Grammar Boost

Designed specifically for your student to improve their clarity, focus, and purpose.

Grammar is the code or building blocks that underlies effective writing and strengthens reading comprehension.

Kids with an age-appropriate understanding of grammar have a higher overall academic confidence. Unfortunately, grammar is a topic that has been de-prioritized in traditional schooling. This is where Use Love Academy comes in.

In this four week course, kids will have the opportunity to master their current level of grammar instruction in a more entertaining fashion than is available in the school system.

We’ll begin with an assessment of the child’s current understanding of grammar concepts. With this information, a learning plan will be developed for the four week duration of the course.

We will meet online at the start of the week to introduce concepts and work through guided practice. I will provide independent practice materials including exploratory projects and seatwork practice with suggestions for creating a calm and fulfilling seatwork environment throughout the week. Independent practice will total approximately two to three 20 minute sittings throughout the week. Families will be able to check in with me throughout the week with a 24 hour response window with any questions. We will end the week with another online meeting to assess our progress.

4. Demonstrate

Though classes are hosted online, this course works best when students handwrite. Prepare to bring a notebook and/or purchase a workbook from the USE LOVE Store (coming soon).
